Sample Problem 1 for Boil Off Calculator

Problem Statement

A mixture of Acetic Acid(Mole fraction = 0.3), Benzene(Mole fraction = 0.3) and Acetone (Mole fraction = 0.4) is to be boiled off. Initially 100 mols of the mixture are taken in the still. Ideal Vapor and Liquid is to be considered. Two operation steps have been defined. In first Operation Step, Boil off is done at 500 Torr at Boil Off rate of 20 Mols/hr for a period of 2 hours. In second Operation Step, Boil off is done at 760 Torr at Boil Off rate of 50 Mols/hr for a period of 1 hour.
