Sample Problem 2 for Boil Off Calculator

Problem Statement

A mixture of Acetic Acid(Mole fraction = 0.5)and Water (Mole fraction = 0.5) is to be boiled off. Initially 100 mols of the mixture are taken in the still. Ideal Vapor and Non-Ideal Liquid is to be considered. Two operation steps have been defined. In first Operation Step, Boil off is done at 760 Torr at Boil Off rate of 50 Mols/hr for a period of 1 hours. In second Operation Step, Boil off is done at 760 Torr at Boil Off rate of 40 Mols/hr for a period of 1 hour.
