Applications for Binary VLE Calculator

Binary VLE Calculator provides a handy tool for studying Vapor Liquid equilibrium for binary mixtures. It analyses for both Ideal and Non-Ideal systems. Non-Ideal systems are evaluated based on Modified Raoult's law using Wilson Interaction parameters. Vapor pressure is calculated based on Antoine equation parameters. It plots P-xy, T-xy and x-y diagrams and these plots can be studied for 3 different pressure and temperature conditions.

In x-y Mode, it can calculate and plot stages based on Mc-Cabe Thiele method. It provides an easy interface to change separation parameters like xF (Feed mol fraction), xB (Bottom product mol fraction), xD (Top product mol fraction), R (Reflux Ratio) and q (Quality of Feed) and thereby study impact of each of these parameters on number of stages required for separation.

This utility is an excellent tool for chemists, process engineers involved in new molecule research and development for studying vapor liquid equilibrium for binary mixtures.
